Summer Music Series

June 16, 2007

HARPS AT PLAY comes from Fresno to perform Saturday, June 16th. Anita Pazeian and Mary Smith have been playing their harps together for over eighteen years, blending classical and folk perspectives from their diverse backgrounds. Anita has a degree in Music Therapy. Mary has a degree in Anthropology with a specialization in Ethnomusicology. The resulting mix gives the distinctive sound they bring to their audiences throughout California – transcriptions of music not traditionally played on the harp. Programs typically include contemporary music in addition to their traditional Celtic repertoire and classical pieces.

Millenium Mall's Summer Music Series runs every Saturday through August, 6-8:00 PM, in Center Court.
